Job Summary

Scrum master is responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum meetings.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Guide, coach and motivate the team and organization with the goal of increasing productivity via Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Organize, lead and encourage participation in all scrum ceremonies (Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review & Demo, Retrospective).
  • Lead collaborative discussion, decision making and problem solving.
  • Manage the team to develop, capture and analyze metrics to facilitate team improvements.
  • Partner with Product Owners to support product backlog definition, refinement, and 3-sprint readiness.
  • Prepare and present reports on the progress and success.
  • Proactively eliminate barriers, coach team members on best practices and facilitate scrum ceremonies.

Education and / or Experience

  • 5 years of experience as a ScrumMaster for a software development team using agile/scrum.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO).
  • 5 years of experience with agile practices, patterns and techniques.
