Job Summary

As a QA Analyst at Site Impact, you will be an important part of our Technology team. You will perform manual and automated testing of the Site Impact platforms with a focus on requirements gathering and support throughout the entire software development lifecycle. The QA Analyst ensures that our software and services are delivered in a manner that meets business expectations and achieves the highest level of client satisfaction and value possible.

Duties / Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform manual testing, documenting/reporting defects back to the developers, and assisting with automation efforts.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our business and industry to provide effective test planning and execution.
  • Work closely with product owners and other teams to develop an understanding of product requirements.
  • Update and create QA documentation.
  • Participate in scrums, buildout meetings, and retrospectives.
  • Support the development and production teams as needed.
  • May generate daily status reports and other low-level reports for supervisors or project teams.
  • Responsible for preventing the introduction of software defects into the production environment.
  • Other duties related to the software product life cycle as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Four Year College Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience with Software Development Cycle and Quality Assurance.
  • Must have proficient knowledge of basic PC hardware and software knowledge, including manual software testing and bug input.
  • Must have demonstrable knowledge of software QA processes.
  • Comfortable speaking tech and human.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile Methodologies.
  • Proficient in Rest API tools such as Postman and other software testing programs.
  • Experience with writing test automation scripts and Selenium is a plus.
  • Mailing or Marketing experience is a huge plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as a computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
