Culture and Values
BMI Elite’s culture is transparent the minute you walk through the door. Though we have only been established for five years, we have accomplished many goals and have raised the bar to achieve others. Our energetic atmosphere, talented professionals and drive to succeed has propelled this business to new heights. Being an industry-leading digital marketing firm is always a priority, but just as we are driven to being the best inside of our business walls, we are always inspired to be the same out of them.
Each year, we team up with multiple non-profits and public charities to help raise awareness and funding for good causes. From our annual toy drive for the Miami Children’s Hospital, teaming with Boca Helping Hands to feed the hungry during the holidays and company-wide walks to support the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association and MS, we at BMI Elite are always looking for ways to help those who need it the most.
National Multiple Sclerosis Society
BMI Elite partnered with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to participate in Walk MS on March 16, 2015 in Boca Raton, FL. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable disease that affects more than 2.3 million people and hinders the natural function of the central nervous system. To show our support for local MS programs and research, BMI Elite composed a team to participate in the 5K Walk MS fundraiser.
Twenty employees participated in the walk, with nearly everybody in the office participating in the fundraiser itself. BMI Elite was able to raise and meet their goal of $5,000 for the MS foundation. These raising efforts were made through the 50/50 raffle that was held in the company’s 5th year anniversary and individual fundraising efforts held throughout the months. It was a great day for everybody who participated in the walk and a joy for everybody to see that helped donate or support our raising efforts.
American Diabetes Association
BMI Elite participated in Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes 5K in Fort Lauderdale on October 25th, 2015. Out of all the corporate teams that were involved in the event, BMI Elite managed to gather the largest donation amount with $6,500, far exceeding the company’s initial goal of $5,000. 25 BMI employees were able to make the 7 a.m. walk and participated for the 3.1-mile fundraiser.
ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
CEO Brandon Rosen called out each and every BMI employee to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, which raises money for Lou Gehrig’s disease research. On Monday, August 18th, employees convened in the front of the building to pour buckets of ice water on themselves. If they chickened out, they were required to donate to the ALS Association!
