In an effort to support the 2016-2017 school year, the BMI Elite team completed their final drop off of school supplies for local non-profit organizations. Using the funds raised from the #BMICares Go Fund Me page focused on supporting underprivileged youth, BMI was able to first make their stop at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County Jim & Jan Moran Unit in Deerfield Beach, FL.
The second round of supplies was delivered to organizations HANDY (Helping Abused Neglected Disadvantaged Youth), which annually serves more than 1,300 at-risk children who participate in comprehensive programs that focus on education, youth development, and economic self-sufficiency and PACE Center for Girls, with 19 non-residential centers throughout Florida, that provide a safe environment for middle and high school aged girls with an emphasis on academics and social services programs aimed to help at-risk girls realize brighter and more productive futures.
Last Friday, the BMI Elite team delivered supplies to both centers in Broward in Palm Beach counties. The supplies included much needed materials including: back packs filled with paper, pens and pencils, folders and a wealth of other supplies they need for school. From all of us at BMI Elite, stay tuned for upcoming initiatives by the #BMICares program.
